Did Mingus just eat that sock?

Well, since getting Mingus we have discovered he has many talents. One of those talents we now know is his ability to eat a whole sock. Yes, thats right, he ate one of Dan's socks. At first I wasn't sure if he had eaten the sock or not. I was falling asleep and Mingus was poking around in the laundry. I woke up and thought I saw a sock hanging out of his mouth. By the time I jumped out of bed and Dan came to grab him, the sock was gone. I thought maybe I had just imagined it. I kept my eye on Mingus for the following week, making sure he was still eating and still going to the bathroom regularly and everything seemed fine. One evening, Dan walked Mingus up to the train station to meet me when I got in from work and he said guess what; Mingus pooped out the sock. Yes, thats right, Mingus pooped out the ENTIRE SOCK. He is so lucky he can handle pooping it out b/c I would not have been happy if we would have had to pay thousands of dollars for emergency surgery. So, not only can he swallow a sock whole, he can also poop out the whole thing. He is such a crazy dog. Needless to say, I have since bought a hamper with a lid so he can't get to the socks anymore!
